Audiologist

Dr. Burton is the director of the program and is board certified in audiology.  She received her Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees from the University of Connecticut and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the A.T.  Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences.  Dr. Burton has been an audiologist for over 25 years and is a recipient of the American Academy of Audiology Presidential Award for her contributions to the profession.  She enjoys working with both children and adults and currently practices in the Waterbury and Southbury locations.

Kay Yanagisawa, M.S.,CCC-A, FAAA

Ms. Yanagisawa is board certified in audiology.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tufts University and her Master’s degree in audiology from Southern Connecticut State University.  Kay has over 20 years of audiology experience and has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, physicians’ offices, a private practice and a university clinic.  Kay has a very loyal following of patients, including many who have followed her to various locations during her career.  Kay enjoys working with both children and adults.  She currently practices in the Waterbury office.

John P. Byram, Au.D., FAAA

Dr. Byram is board certified in Audiology.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State College and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Connecticut.  Dr. Byram is passionate about helping persons with hearing loss   His area of specialty is advanced hearing aid technology and he enjoys working with both children and adults.  He currently practices in the Waterbury and Meriden locations.
